Teacher of PE and Games

Full Time/Part Time

One year maternity cover to start in January 2025

Leicester Grammar School is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools. Our pupils enjoy exceptional opportunities within and beyond the classroom; we have high expectations, but the success of our community stems, above all, from a culture of aspiration and care.

From January 2025, we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and excellent Teacher of PE and Games, to cover a maternity absence of up to one year.

Ideally you will have a specialism in netball and/or hockey, and a demonstrable track-record of coaching teams to success. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering a high standard of PE and Games and ideally have experience of teaching Academic PE at GCSE or A Level.

We are able to consider full-time or part-time applications.

If you are committed to growing professionally and want to make a difference to young peopleâs lives through sport, whilst working in a supportive environment, we would welcome your application.

If you are interested in teaching PE and Games in a supportive, caring, and academically engaging environment, you are advised to apply early as we reserve the right to close this vacancy earlier than the specified deadline, if a suitable candidate is found.
