Job overview

Bridgwater College Academy are looking for an outstanding classroom teacher, or an ECT with the potential to become outstanding, to join our dynamic and expanding Science department, covering KS3 and KS4 core Science and KS4 Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

You will have experience teaching across KS3 and KS4, a passion for Science, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

You will also need to have good behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students in order to raise standards and maximise their potential.

About Bridgwater College Academy

Bridgwater College Academy is the only all-through mainstream Academy in Somerset and opened in 2012.  Student numbers are divided equally between Primary and Secondary phases; we also have a nursery provision too. The Academy was the first sponsored Academy within the Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust, which now hosts seven Academies and is itself set to continue to expand in the future.
