Skills and Experience

We are looking for an educator who demonstrates:

• Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge of Key Stage 3 Science and IGCSE curriculum, with the ability to teach engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Student-Centered Teaching: Ability to personalize lessons to meet the developmental needs of students transitioning from Key Stage 2 and progressing toward Key Stage 4.
• Effective Assessment: Proficient in a variety of assessment methods to monitor student progress and inform instructional planning.
• Cross-Disciplinary Understanding: Awareness of how Key Stage 3 science integrates with other subject areas and supports broader academic development.
• Engagement Strategies: Skills to foster curiosity, collaboration, and independent thinking in young learners.

Requirements

1.Qualifications and Development

• A recognized teaching qualification and an Honours degree in a relevant science discipline.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to reflective practice.

2.Knowledge and Expertise

• Deep understanding of Key Stage 3 Science curriculum and progression toward IGCSE.
• Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and strategies for supporting EAL learners.
• Experience in planning and delivering lessons and assessments that encourage inquiry and hands-on learning.
