Job overview
We are looking to appoint a C Grade innovative temporary Teaching & Learning Assistant to join our team of dedicated and committed professionals as soon as possible. You will need to have an interest in working with young people and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this area.
Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching.
The hours of work are 28.33 hours per week, paid for 47.36 weeks per year on a part-time, term time only temporary contract until 31st August 2025 Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.20am to 3.00pm.
The salary scale for this post is LGA Scale 5 currently £28,163-£30,060 pa, full-time equivalent. The actual pro rata starting salary is £19,639 per annum (47.36 weeks per year). There are also opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.
