The Role
Astrea Academy Sheffield opened in 2018 and has an opportunity for 5 Primary Phase Teaching Assistants to help develop and shape the ethos and culture of a growing school.
As a Teaching Assistant you will work under the direct instruction of the SENDCo and teaching staff to support access to learning for children and to assist the teacher in the management of children and the classroom.
You will be a confident individual with experience working within a similar role and should have the necessary experience or qualification within a certain relevant trade. You will have strong ICT and organisation skills with great written and verbal communication skills.

Astrea Academy Sheffield is a through school situated in Sheffield, which opened in 2018. Each year, the school grows as we fill our year groups. In the primary phase we currently have pupils from nursery to year 3. The school represents a unique opportunity for a new members of staff to help us shape a growing school.
We have the highest aspiration for our scholars to achieve their very best and grow both as individuals and as members of their community.
