Job overview
The Quest Academy is looking for a skilled and passionate Team Leader Maths to lead further improvements in our Faculty
We believe that by creating the opportunity and environment in which staff can flourish, students will flourish too. Every member of staff is allocated an hour every week on their timetable to devote solely to improving their own teaching practice. This is in addition to our regular staff development, NPQs, MA and other courses on offer.
The Quest Maths team is very strong and delivers consistently high standards - at both GCSE and A-Level. The Faculty is well established and an area of excellent practice. The Maths team has a range of colleagues in terms of experience and also consists of two coordinators and a Lead Practitioner, who you will work alongside to help deliver excellent pedagogy. The Maths Faculty is a fantastic place to accelerate the development of your own teaching skills, and share ideas on what makes outstanding learning. We would very much welcome an application from you.
Through this role you will deliver, and help others deliver, exceptional teaching and learning which ensures the rapid progress of students. To do this you will benefit from our excellent structures for managing behaviour and ensuring disruption free classrooms.

About The Quest Academy
The Quest Academy opened in 2010 and is part of The Collegiate Trust.
We opened our sixth form, Quest6 in 2012 and moved into stunning new buildings in 2014, providing the very best facilities for our staff and students.
We are a very successful Academy. We have doubled in size since we opened, are regularly oversubscribed and achieve excellent results in all key stages.
The professional development of our staff is paramount to us. A significant proportion of our leaders, including SLT, have been with us since the beginning of their careers and have benefitted from the career progression available.
All staff are allocated an extra 1 hour of non-contact time each week which is designated exclusively to develop teaching pedagogy. All staff participate in the Professional Development Programme which is specific to the needs of individual teachers.
We have created a purposeful campus where we work hard and work together to achieve excellence inside and outside of the classroom, valuing academic achievement and personal growth.
We look forward to receiving applications from those who want to join our journey.
