A Welding Tutor needs to be…
- positive, supportive and patient
- organised and reliable
- able to inspire students with your infectious enthusiasm and energy
- experienced in several welding disciplines e.g. MIG, MAG, TIG, fabrication…
- willing to work towards coded welding status (or already be coded)
- able to explain things simply and clearly
What you’ll be doing…
- welding and fabrication training to apprentices and wider industry
- developing the welding curriculum
- marking work, tracking progress and giving feedback
- supporting, training and mentoring the next generation of welders
- delivering training to the community
