An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Trainee Science Technician to assist in practical preparation and support of our well led and resourced Science Faculty. The team are experienced, enthusiastic and creative making this an excellent opportunity for trainee member of staff. Science is a hugely successful and popular subject at Hatch End High School at both Key Stage 4, offering both combined and separated sciences and at Key Stage 5 where we offer all three A-levels plus the BTEC Applied Science course. 

 

The successful applicant will:

  • have a desire to contribute to contribute to success at KS3, GCSE and post-16 sciences
  • have a good understanding of health and safety and good organizational skills;
  • have the ability to work independently and within a team;
  • have the ability to work to deadlines;

  • have an enthusiastic and positive approach within and beyond the preparation rooms;
  • have energy, stamina and a sense of humour.

Hatch End High School is a highly successful multi-cultural Academy located in Harrow, London.

Sixth-form facilities were opened on the site in 2010 and a brand new rebuild in 2019. The school currently has approximately 1,250 students aged 11-18, including 270 in the Sixth Form.
