Job overview

We are seeking a Trust ICT Operations Manager will manage, maintain and continually develop a safe, secure, and effective ICT estate and strategy across the Trust. Working with our School Network Managers and their team(s) you will actively line manage, support and oversee the deployment of, and the professional development responsibility of our IT support teams.

Working with the senior leadership teams within the schools and Trust on ICT strategic planning, you will take overall responsibility for the management and development of the ICT infrastructure, liaising with key staff to ensure that ICT services meet operational needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape positive change to ensure our teaching and administrative ICT systems meet the needs of all of our pupils and staff for learning in the 21st Century, whilst ensuring safe, secure infrastructure.

Springfield School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school in Hampshire serving students from the age of 11-16. The secondary school, situated in Portsmouth has approximately 1,105 students on record. Springfield School is a member of the Portsmouth Teaching School Alliance with other schools in the local area, ranging from nurseries to universities.
