This is a word document that has links to lots of Youtube videos I have created showing how to answer a variety of different IGCSE graphic products questions. With each video there is a link to the exam paper so you can print it off easily. These can be used as homework help or revision tasks.
This is a complete scheme of work where students follow help sheets and videos to create a Land Rover. The pupils make 3 parts of the Land Rover, put them together in an assembly and make technical drawings, The project lasts about 6 weeks (2x1hour lessons per week). At the end you can 3D print the Land Rover or just have it as a virtual prototype.
The download includes:
Help sheets
Videos
Powerpoint lessons
Scheme of work
Success Criteria
In the project the pupils learn how to:

Add materials, colours and textures to a render
Creating a final image with background
I teach it to our year 9 pupils who have very little prior knowledge of Solidworks. With the videos and help sheets the pupils can progress very independently and have skills to be able to make other products using the programme.
Unfortunately TES does not let me upload Solidworks files
15 Powerpoint lessons looking at a variety of drawing styles including:
1 point perspective
2 point perspective
Orthographic
Isometric
Planometric

There are pupil versions that I use for pupils to follow independently and teacher versions that have solutions to go on the board. Some I have taken from the tes previously and converted into the style of my Powerpoints.
Beginners guide to Solidworks with help sheet and videos showing how to make basic shape. The guides look at drawing shapes using shape and line tools, extrude boss/base, extruded cut and fillet edges.
The help sheets and videos can be used individually but are best utilised both together. When used together pupils can work independently to complete the tasks and then can go on to create their own shapes.
I use these as a starting point for a Land Rover project that is also on the TES.
