<p>Devised from the Key Stage 2 Geograhy Currciulum, the Power Point explores four key trade links which occour in rainforests (specifically the amazon). Palm Oil - Logging - Cattle and Medicines.</p>
<p>Their is also a slide on Fair Trade and two final slides where children can have a debate on the advantages and disadvantages for specific groups of people - Meeting a key Geography Skill.</p>

<p>This lesson explores some of key physical and human features of geography between England and Brazil. The lesson could be completed independently by students using the slides, or taught to pupils as part of a wider discussion.</p>
<p>Pupils can use the additional sheet to note down similarities and differences.</p>
<p>This lesson is planned under the KS2 Geography Strands:</p>
<p>Understand geographical similarities and differences through the study of human and physical geography of a region in South America + Describe and understand key aspects of physical geography, including: climate zones, biomes (tropical rainforest).</p>

<p>These two PowerPoints, which can be taught as two independent lessons, cover the first core block of Relationships Education “Respectful Relationships”.</p>
