A powerpoint showing key events in Tudor history including births and deaths of Henry VIII, Mary I, Edward VI and Elizabeth I. Also includes Henry VIII's marriages to his 6 wives and their divorces/deaths. Alongside this I added dates for Spanish Armada, dissolution of the monasteries and some Drake/Raleigh discoveries etc.

An outline of the events during the dissolution of the monasteries. Including the pilgrimage of Grace and brief explanation of a monastery and the life of monks/nuns etc.

I used with my Y5/6 class during our water topic. They asked to look at oceans, so in a lesson we looked at how they were made, why they are blue, why they are salty, the difference between a sea and an oceans, waves, tides and tsunamis. <br /> A lot to do but they wanted to know it! we also located the different oceans on maps and in atlases.
