<p>This 6 lesson scheme of work for KS3, ideally year 7, gives pupils an introduction to the early Islamic world. The lesson focuses specifically on the growth of civilisation, covering areas such as trade, medicine, and warfare.</p> <p>This unit explores the historical significance of the Islamic Empire(s) and help pupils see parallels between different societies within this period (medieval England).</p> <p>The unit has a creative activity to be assessed at the end and has one homework incorporated.</p>

<p>This lesson is designed for the upcoming Elizabeth England 1558-1603 GCSE Edexcel exam on the 4th June.<br /> The lesson covers exam skills for all questions, in particular focusing on the essay question and line of argument.<br /> The content mainly focuses on the areas that I have predicted are possible to come up this year.<br /> The lesson includes a breakdown on previous questions and consequent areas that are lacking/have not been asked yet.</p>

<p>This is a lesson on Ronald Reagan which should complement the Edexcel ‘Superpower relations and the Cold War’ at GCSE level. It also has a consequence practice which has been updated for the 2024 spec.</p>

<p>THE SEQUENCE WILL FOCUS ON REASONS FOR MIGRATION, AND ALSO THE RECEPTION AND PREJUDICES MANY MIGRANTS SUFFERED DUE TO THEIR RACE AND OR RELIGION UPON ARRIVING IN BRITAIN FROM THE EARLY MEDIEVAL PERIOD UP UNTIL COMMONWEALTH IMMIGRATION.</p> <p>THIS SEQUENCE WILL BE A HELPFUL FOUNDATION TO UNDERSTAND THE BRITISH CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT AND THE EXPERIENCES OF BLACK PEOPLE IN BRITAIN TOWARDS THE LATER 20TH CENTURY AND PRESENT DAY.</p> <p>THE SCHEME OF WORK IS ENTITLED:</p> <p>‘The story of migration to Britain: How have the experiences of migrants developed over time? 800 AD to 2023’</p>
