Strategies to improve development
Three strategies to improve development of countries: aid, trade and debt relief. Includes explanation of multiplier effect. Aimed at Year 9 students for 1 hour.
The lessons starts by explaining how multiplier effects work and then goes into how aid, trade and debt relief can improve the development of a country. Can be used as a carousel task or broken down with teacher talk and then fill in the worksheet. Match activity for an advantage and disadvantage of each with a practice on writing out multiplier effects at the end.
