A revision resource which condenses ‘components of physical and skill-related fitness’, ‘methods of testing’ and ‘methods of training’ into a table format, so that pupils can easily visualise and revise the information. An excellent resource to be printed and stuck into work books, for pupils to refer back to (also reduces amount pupils need to write during the delivery of this content).

This resources includes definitions and examples which can be adapted and built upon, to support pupils in completing the set assignments released. Ideas of activities to support learning have also been included but, they do not specifically state the exact activities that should take place during a lesson, as these can be planned and designed by the leading teacher. Each lesson also has the following planned: powerful knowledge, robust vocabulary, key terms, key questions and potential misconceptions. Overall, a good resource to ensure learning and progression is achieved, among all levels of ability, across a term of swimming.
