<p>Pablo Picasso (Malaga, Spain 1881-near Cannes, France 1973) was a Spanish painter, probably the most famous painter of the 20th century. As well as a painter, he was a sculptor, print maker, ceramicist, lithographer, illustrator and stage designer for the theatre and ballet. He also wrote poetry and plays.<br /> With the French artist Georges Braque, he is the creator of Cubism.</p> <p>This lesson about Picasso is based on a PPT template. Students are prompted to research and add information. It is self-directed, allowing students to use their research skills and build their own knowledge base of Picasso’s work. This presentation would make an excellent introduction to Picasso and cubism.
