WJEC English Language GCSE higher tariff reading questions Flashcards/Display

(0)

A student-friendly explanation on how to answer each of the higher tariff questions in the WJEC English language exams (unit 2 and 3 covered). Can be used as:

A revision match up exercise. The top card is the question type, how many texts can be involved and how many marks it can be worth. The bottom card is an explanation how to answer this question type.
I’ve used this with my year 11 class as a starter to the revision month before the exams! They had to match the question type to its explanation and glue each complete set one per page in their books. They then had to match the example question to the correct question and highlight the key focus of the question. Handy to refer to at the beginning of each lesson in which we will be focusing on one of those questions.

A classroom display.
