I thought this would be useful for in the front of books, so children know their targets. Once you have seen evidence of the target 3 times in their work, date/sign/stamp and award some form of prize or incentive.

A really interactive way to control noise level in the classroom. Put the star on the category of noise you require for a piece of work - if the children are working above this, take away a letter of 'noise' at a time until there are no letters left then do as you wish!
