<p>Images of real buildings with accompanying information to prompt intrigue and discussion from children.</p> <p>I used them on display at the children’s sitting eye-level, they were there throughout the year and as children became more intrigued in signs and symbols, they talked about what they could see and asked about the words.</p>

<p>Black and White labels to support a ‘why do we play?’ characteristics of Learning Display.</p> <p>These are an updated version of my previous resource. I will be using these on a display alongside photographs of children in the setting to answer the title question ‘why do we play?’.</p>

<p>Image Cards for Snack Area, with a real item photographs.</p> <p>I have used them on a wall display to facilitate a menu approach so that children can clearly see what is being offered that day.</p> <p>This means children can be in their play and see from a distance what is on offer for snack today without leaving their play.</p>
