A Festive Christmas Murder Mystery

It’s a few days before Christmas and Rudolph has been murdered. Pupils must work in groups to interview suspects and analyse evidence to build a case!

This has been used with groups of up to 40 KS3 pupils and has also been used in youth clubs. The murder mystery will require some older pupils or staff to play the part of suspects who can be interviewed. The activity should take around 80 minutes, but could be rushed into an hour or allowed to last 100 mins.

This has been used as part of a Christmas fun day in school for house competitions but also works very well as a speaking and listening activity.
