Design your own sustainable island

(0)

We all need to learn to live in balance with our planet. What if your class could design and possibly make their own island? This geography or PHSE lesson provides students with the opportunity do this. This lesson has always been a winner with my classes and has lasted a few lessons. Students will think about their own island and design it. The lesson explores human and physical features, maps and sustainability. The lesson has the potential to be a spring board into a wider project.

Extensions are provided. I hope they enjoy it!
