<p>Short lesson on divisibility rules. I use word fills to get students to stay focused in class. Good strategy for weak/EAL students</p> <p>Small activity in the middle where they have to fill in the tables with numbers that show up on the screen and put ticks or crosses to indicate if they are divisible by a certain number.</p> <p>Keeps students on their toes when they are constantly looking for the next blank to fill in. <p>Surface area of cubes and cuboids with animations. I created this just as a template for anyone who might want to use it in lessons. Not a full lesson but if you’re looking for something with animations to aid learning, this might be helpful</p>

<p>Another lesson from the early Covid days when students were taught in mixed ability groups. The lesson is based around the Chinese grid method for multiplication. It then extends on to using it with decimals but for lower ability students they can use a ‘helpsheet’ that focuses on placement of decimals if they find the work too difficult. Also includes a 10ticks worksheet and a version I adapted myself for lower ability students</p> <p>Credit to whoever came up with the helpsheet resource (sorry I can’t remember where I got it from) and 10ticks for the main worksheet.</p>

<p>Initially planned for top set Year 7s. It isn’t a fully finished lesson as this lesson was being planned as lockdown happened in March 2020. Lacks worksheets/questions but you can use print outs for some of the examples.</p>
