Sequence of activities and tasks to improve writing (focus: improving for the AQA examination).

Slides are made to use target language as much as possible. These slides were made and tailored for a Y10 group with low literacy skills and lack of interest in the subject.

You can be a cool and professional teacher at the same time by introducing The Avengers in your lessons ;)

What can you find in this resource?

Initial notes for teachers (description, skills and suggestions for differentiation)

Comments explaining what I use that activity for and why it is useful. The comments can be good for any teacher but specially for people currently doing their PGCE or NQT year. This is the kind of things I found difficult to find on internet so now I try to help other future or present professionals.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and I will better explain.

Engaging activity to revise. It can be used as a starter or as plenary. Work in pairs, teacher times and students have fun! Use also translation (good for GCSE) when modelling, students challenge themselves and love it.

Grammar-Qué y cuál

Lesson planned for the specific question from my students: When do we use 'qué' and 'cuál'?
I tried to make it easy and clear for everyone and I decided to spend one lesson on this after we had speaking assessments. Following the current New GCSE, I concentrated on making questions using 'qué' and 'cuál' because many of my students made mistakes on this grammar point when making the questions they had to ask for the role play.

Kinaesthetic activity to consolidate vocabulary.

Slides are made to use target language as much as possible. I use slides as support and I ask students to translate what is on the slides in English. Modelling can be excellent to learn before in context and for a communicative purpose before the task itself.

What can you find in this resource?

Initial notes for teachers (description, skills and suggestions for differentiation)

Comments explaining what I use that activity for and why it is useful. Mind-map for Spanish

Slides using target language (TL in this case is Spanish) to show students the starter activity based on the mind-map they had to create for homework. In order to use as much TL as I can, I use slides as support and I ask students to translate what is on the slides in English. Then, we check together.

There are also comments explaining what I use that activity for and why it is useful. The comments can be good for any teacher but specially for people currently doing their PGCE or NQT year. This is the kind of things I found difficult to find on internet so now I try to help other future or present professionals.
