This resource is designed to allow learners the opportunity to create their own christmas card. The resource is a booklet, pupils must complete the booklet before they create their personal card. Pupils must supply different designs while using literacy skills to support each draft card.
Lego maths game. Three different ability lego maths games designed to encourage children to develop their addition and subtraction skills. Pupils start off with a set number of bricks and add/subtract bricks as they move around the board after rolling a dice. The winning pupils are the pupil with the most bricks and the pupil who finished the board game first.<br />
Its important that pupils record their addition and subtraction sums while playing the game. <br />

The BIG FAT christmas quiz of the year. This resource is a fun activity that involves literacy and numeracy skills alongside general christmas knowledge. Pupils work in teams to write the answers on the answer sheet provided.<br />

This activity is aimed to quiz pupils on space but includes numeracy and literacy. Pupils have to work in groups to answer the quiz questions on the answer sheet provided. My class loved this activity and asked to do another quiz.
Used to support BIG Maths. Pupils create fact families using different numbers created using dice. Two versions - Addition/subtraction and Division/multiplication.
Pupils must use their knowledge of healthy and unhealthy foods to complete a Venn diagram. Pupils must cut and stick the correct foods in the correct place, its important pupils use their literacy skills to label these foods.
Assess pupils understanding of multiplication by asking them to use the different methods available. <br />

Pupils develop their literacy skills with this resource. Pupils develop the ability to write in the 3rd person, i used this resource while working on newspaper reports.
This resource is used to develop pupils understanding of bar charts. Pupils use the checklist to ensure they have all the correct aspects of a bar chart.
This is a fantastic resource as it involves mathematical problem solving skills alongside a Tudor topic. Pupils use the popular RUCSAC method of answering word questions to complete the activity.<br />

Pupils had to select a word related to bullying and stick it on top of the correct word on the bullying mat. We completed this during a PE lesson where pupils had to complete an obstacle course to get to the bullying mat.
