This worksheet comprises three activities - a wordsearch, a colouring activity with instructions in Spanish and a code-breaker. The code breaker reveals key vocabulary, but be careful - you have not been given every letter of the alphabet!

Here I have compiled a booklet of sample paragraphs for Theme 3, AQA Spanish. I have written the paragraphs in both Spanish and English with a space underneath each for students to write their own version. I have made bold any vobabulary that was used from the vocabulary list within the Kerboodle textbook and I have also underlined any words or phrases in both languages which would be good to add to their own version. The aim is to be able to write a poem using the Preterit tense based on the structure of the French poem Déjeuner du Matin (translated to Spanish) by Jacques Prévert. A game where you have six seconds to name what is on the board (EG “Three nouns beginning with M”) in order to score a point. Can be used with French and Spanish classes. The game is very similar to the “5-second rule” game you can buy in shops.
