The key skill for students to develop through the completion of this resource is their organisation of numbers and data. Addition, subtraction and multiplication are all included throughout the activity. Students must calculate the club’s annual income and expenditure and make decisions on which players to sell in order to ‘balance the books’ and keep the club afloat.
