• This Arabic teaching resource explains the work of Dr Lisa Maher, at the University of California, and Dr Danielle Macdonald, at the University of Tulsa, in the US, who are investigating artefacts left by humans living 20,000 years ago to gain an insight into how one of the earliest societies lived.
• This resource also contains interviews with Lisa and Danielle. If you or your students have a question for them, you can submit it online – go to the article using the Futurum link below and scroll to the bottom of the page. Lisa and Danielle will reply!
• The activity sheet provides ‘talking points’ (based on Bloom’s Taxonomy) to prompt students to reflect on Lisa and Danielle’s research, and tasks them to think about what different archaeological artefacts can reveal.
