'One Water' and it is very precious!

In many parts of the world there is limited access to supplies of clean water, it is a fact that demand for water resources is rising globally but supply can be insecure and is becoming increasingly more difficult to access for particularly people living in LIC’s.
By 2030 Global Goal 6 states that: Everyone will have safe water to drink,

• This resource explores the problem faced every day for people living in LIC’s.
• It compares the usage of water in a HIC with that in a LIC.
• It considers solutions to water shortages in LIC’s, including the ‘One Water’ concept and the inovative idea of ‘Playpumps’
• It looks at the benefits of clean water.
• Finally it sets a challenge to the young people to create and design the next ‘One’ project to make a difference.
