Environmental issues such as climate change, decreasing biodiversity, habitat destruction and pollution are huge global issues, however the thought of teaching them can be intimidating, leaving many feeling overwhelmed. Our Tool Kits provide a comprehensive, cost effective and easy solution for educators. They offer hours of activities, news and information that gently explains key issues and links to the National Curriculum.

Follow our simple guide and design your own poster to raise awareness of plastic pollution and then take on our 31-day plastic free challenge, can you get your family onboard? There’s a recipe to make summer fruit skewers and a shopping challenge to buy the ingredients plastic free, our eco hero card features eco campaigner and pioneer, Anita Roddick and our I Spy card gives you ideas to go on your own local clean up. You’ll find a postcard to help you start a campaign to get everyone thinking about their plastic usage. There’s also a guide to having a plastic free picnic (or lunchbox!), a quiz to test your plastic knowledge, a pledge card and 20 unbelievable plastic facts to wow your friends. There’s 2 activity cards packed with eight fun puzzles so you can start becoming a plastic expert immediately!

Activities include making a no-sew t-shirt tote bag, raiding the recycling bin for bottles to make a bird feeder and a bird shower, making a recycled paddle boat and getting party-ready by making plastic-free decorations.

There’s also a little something for grown-ups inside to help you answer any about plastic pollution questions as well as a useful glossary.
