This is a Powerpoint presentation of 11 slides and is no.2 in a series of 60-minute lessons used by me to tutor a GCSE student via Zoom. The focus of each lesson is grammatical, rather than topic specific, and as such they can be slotted into topic work as required. In addition, each lesson attempts to extend the use of German to match the requirements of GCSE Higher Tier.
This presentation explains and practises German word order. It is a revision lesson for GCSE and covers verb as 2nd idea, TMP and subordinating + co-ordinating conjunctions. There are many grammatical exercises and the last slide has a passage of German where students have correct the word order for the words in red.
