25. French: expressions of time - il y a, depuis, pendant, dans etc.

This is a Powerpoint presentation of 12 slides and is no. 25 in a series of 60-minute lessons used by me to tutor a GCSE student via Zoom. The focus of each lesson is grammatical, rather than topic specific, and as such they can be slotted into topic work as required. In addition, each lesson attempts to extend the use of French to match the requirements of GCSE Higher Tier.

This presentation pulls together all the prepositions which are used with expressions of time in French: il y a; depuis; ça fait; pour; pendant; dans; en. It introduces and practises each preposition through a grammatical explanation, oral work (noughts and crosses) and translation exercises.
