27. French: The Partitive Article + expressions of quantity

This is a Powerpoint presentation of 8 slides and is no. 27 in a series of 60-minute lessons used by me to tutor a GCSE student via Zoom. The focus of each lesson is grammatical, rather than topic specific, and as such they can be slotted into topic work as required. In addition, each lesson attempts to extend the use of French to match the requirements of GCSE Higher Tier.

This presentation teaches use of the partitive article in French through the topic of ‘food & drink’. There is a grammatical explanation, which also explains what happens after a negative, oral practice with two slides for OXO, a reading comprehension, a slide with important expressions of quantity and a vocabulary list from the GCSE AQA Specification.
