2D Shape Sorter Activity.
The best way to use this resource:
Print the shapes (pages 1 - 7) on different coloured paper and chop and laminate. Put these in a big pile on the playground for the children.
Print and laminate the shape name cards and put these inside 7 different hula hoops on the far side of the playground.
Children need to grab one shape at a time, run to the far side of the playground and place the shape in the correctly marked hula hoop!
Great fun, part of an outstandng maths lesson with a mixed EYFS / Year 1 Class.
