7 days of sensory Spring activities for Early years and young people with Complex and additional sup

Hi please find some fun Home learning ideas. This is a sensory fun activity suited for Early years and young people with additional support learning needs. Over the next couple of weeks the children shall explore interesting features of our environment using ‘Spring’ as our learning theme. Children will experience and explore sensory aspects of ‘Spring’ through outdoor and indoor sessions, songs, tactile exploration and sensory stories. The children can work at different levels of their preference and ability or level of support from adult. All instructions are given and simple.

Much needed sensory props:
(a variety of fresh air floral spray or scented hand creams, bubbles, bright coloured scarves or a garland of artificial flowers, butterflies-from home bargains and water squisher from home bargains).

The power of repetition is great for reinforcing learning and children learn to anticipate and engage in the learning experiences. I have selected a Spring song from You tube and you are free to use it or you can choose one of your choice.
