I wrote this piece for my 2019 English Language A-Level, for the language investigation part of the coursework on the AQA exam board.
After grading and moderation it recieved 50/50 marks. I was also awarded my sixth forms Dylan-Thomas award for it.
It is an investigation into the differences in language used by defence and prosecution lawyers within the Oscar Pistorius murder trial.
I was advised to post it on here as an examplar for how to structure an investigation and what to potentially include to recieve a top grade.
