This resource is used to develop students use of excel to present information in a scientific way and to create graphs in excel, and calculate the gradient to find Young’s modulus.
There is a step by step guide for the first example and then 2 other specimens for the students to complete.
Students will need to format the cells for significant figures, convert data SI units, use excel equations to calculate area, stress, strain.

This will support Young’s modulus CPAC for A Level physics
