A 21 week scheme of work (total of over 80 lessons).
- Chronological approach to the text. After concerns about how resources appeared when downloaded by my buyers, I have put all texts into a rolling Powerpoint with the SOW in built so that you can know exactly where you are.
- Consistent success criteria and reflection activities.
- Some exemplar. This is my first year teaching this so there aren´t any whole essays yet, but I will add to this throughout the course of the year.
- Context activities used through out, including work on propoganda posters.
- Scaffolded approach to writing essays.
- Opportunities for creative tasks- debate, writing etc.
Please note that we decided to read the text first before going on to analyse it. Therefore, 4 reading weeks are included at the start.
