Algebra Review Sheets

These algebra review sheets can be used with year 9 and edited for year 8. They cover the following skills:

Use and interpret algebraic notation.
Substitute numerical values into formulae and expressions.
Simplify and manipulate algebraic expressions to maintain equivalence by:

• collecting like terms
• multiplying a single term over a bracket
• taking out common factors (factorising)
• expanding products of two or more binomials
  Rearrange formulae to change the subject.
  Use algebraic methods to solve linear equations in one variable.

Answers are included.

They can be used for assessment or for homework, or a combination of both.
