Analysing a Talk - Finding Techniques

Students have already looked at speech writing. They have identified the features of a speech using Emma Watson's speech at the UN as part of the HEFORSHE Campaign. This resource may be used to analyse a sample answer/a student answer. I have used it in small groups or in pairs. Students are given different coloured pens to annotate a text. It has worked well, as students are exposed to a variety of writing styles.
