An excellent and simple way of encouraging students to write more analytically within their answers. This connotation circle PowerPoint includes an example from An Inspector Calls as well as a blank template. There is also an additional slide of ideas/ different ways that you could use the connotation circle in lessons. This is a great resource to help plan answers as well as structure paragraphs if you would like to move away from the sometimes-restrictive PEE style paragraphs.
