17 ready to teach lessons formulated from the AQA Teaching resources to help you develop the confidence of your Key Stage 3 students when reading 19th-century literature.
You can download the full booklet for free (http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/resources/english/AQA-8702-19C-KS3.PDF) and it comes with teaching ideas, many of which I have utilised, so before purchasing you may want to look at it and design your own lessons.
The Outcomes are geared towards year 8 students working towards the new grades 1-9 (Grade 2 - developing/ Grade 3 - good/ Grade 4 - Secure).
I have tried to incorporate scaffolding for lower and a GandT slide at the end of each to print off. Please check notes fields as these are complete lessons with no extra lesson plan.
This has taken many hours of putting together and tries to encapsulate the language and literature AO's with questions designed to prepare for paper 1 and paper 2 of language. It starts with creative writing and there is also a leaflet writing lesson.
Most lessons say PA - peer assessed this is of your own discretion to decide when to teacher mark.
