This is the forth lesson in a series for the new AQA (8145) Norman England, c1066-1100.
This lesson uses the red Hodder Education textbook but can be easily adapted for use with the pink Oxford University Press textbook if needed.
This lesson is focused on Harold's coronation, looking at why it was so easy for Harold to be crowned instead of any of the other claimants and also how the Witan was involved. The lesson also briefly looks at William's preperations as a result of Harold being crowned.
