Three knowledge organisers for C1 (Atomic structure and the Periodic table), C2 (Bonding, Structure and the Properties of Matter) and C3 (Chemical Quantities). It contains all the key knowledge from these topics for the new GCSE.
I set revision tasks for the students from the start of the topic (e.g. learn 1-7). I then delete parts of the organiser and get students to fill it in for low stakes testing. It’s good to revise a topic as we go along - effective consolidation if tested regularly. Very important when there’s so much to remember for the new GCSE.
