The powerpoints are designed to cover all the main teachings, key words, sub-topics and typical exam questions relating to AQA 9-1 Religious Studies Spec A. The word documents are designed to accompany the ppt slides. This is intended to provide a ‘safety net’ for all students but particularly those who may be struggling and just want to be clear on what the main learning actually involves. It is assumed that these activities are ‘cemented’ by other activities, especially useful diverges to enhance interest and learning. These lesson were particularly difficult to resource without going too heavily into creationism or science. However, the implication is that these issues will have to be referred to at some point. There are also two homework tasks. The first is to ensure the Muslim beliefs about creation are covered if there isn’t time for a separate lesson. The second homework is research into IFEES and the 2030 Agenda for sustainable Development. The key concepts are covered in the lesson so the homework should be accessible to all.
