This is an annotated and narrated powerpoint presentation for GCSE Biology and Trilogy to help next year’s Year 11 students catch up after Covid19. It covers what a pathogen is and how bacteria and viruses make us feel ill, followed by how se prevent pathogens from getting in to the body, how pathogens are spread, and examples of infectious diseases, from the AQA specification, covering the organism that causes the disease, how it spreads, the symptoms and the prevention/treatment of the disease. There is a focus on how to prevent the spread of malaria by controlling the mosquito. It has 5 multiple choice questions and a RAG sheet to assess knowledge and understanding and can be used without the narration in class and with it for revision purposes. It is fully editable.
