Aimed at the new AQA 2016 GCSE History specification unit: Conflict and Tension 1894-1918. The worksheets are to support the teaching of the Early Battles - Mons, Marne and the first battle of Ypres.
When delivering this to my students, they used the old Walsh AQA textbook as this had some key points about each battle.
One resource is a mind map sheet. We watched three YouTube clips and the students wrote down key points. The other resource is a timeline sheet which students made more detailed notes onto.
