An interactive activity for students to model protein synthesis. Tailored to the new AQA GCSE Biology specification. Students could cut their own resources out, but I made 10 identical laminated packs to use each year. Students can take photos of each stage in order to make a timeline. I have included a word document with photos of each stage.

Great visual resource that worked really well with a bottom set class. Thank you for making it an editable version too - for IGCSE they do have to know about mRNA, tRNA and U, but this was easy to change. Thank you for providing it free as well - I've seen much lower quality resources at a hefty price!! This is great value.

Great idea and perfect size to keep in little bags, but the use of T as an RNA nucleotide and the stop codon in the middle of the sequence were confusing. I suggest reposting a corrected version.

This is a really great model. I made a few changes to some of the base pairs (so that the first codon is a AUG and there is a stop codon at the end). Students got a lot out of modelling this. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome thank you. A Great visual, active way for them to actually engage and model what is happening
