AQA Language Paper 2, Section A: Nelson, The Heroic Age 2024-25

This new resource for Paper 2 Section A can be used alongside the AO3 teaching for the AQA Literature Power and Conflict poem, ‘Checking Out Me History’.

It looks at two perspectives to Nelson’s career and legacy across 200 years, whilst preparing candidates for responses for Language Paper 2.

This resource works well as part of a set of internal PPE assessments, part of a wider unit of work that develops approaches to Language Paper 2 or to set as a revision, home learning or cover work resource.
