AQA Poetry Anthology Million Pound Drop!

Students get to compete in an interactive game whilst revising at the same time!

• The first (warm up) round consists of matching the poet to their poem.
• For the second round each player must answer two questions on a single quotation from a poem.
• Four possible answers will appear followed by a question.
• The players must share the counters in front of them over what they think is the correct answer leaving one answer clear – no conferring amongst team members.
• Any prize left on the wrong answer will drop and be taken away.
• Students will then be asked to explain the effect of the device (there is the possibility of earning lost money back for great answers).
