Progression grids for KS3 to address the gap created by the "Assessment Without Levels" agenda. The language is based on the NEW GCSE English Language exams mark schemes, but also takes account of and incorporates GCSE English Literature and the new KS3 curriculum. These would also be appropriate if they were used as student trackers, and could as easily be used at KS4.
This also includes versions that would be suitable to place in students' books, so you can evidence progress easily, and blank copies of the template. The grids are colour coded:
Purple = Well Below Age Expected
Yellow = Below Age Expected
Green = Working Towards Age Expected
Orange = Age Expected
Blue = Above Age Expected
Red = Most Able
